China, Russia and India; a force to be reckoned with.

Valentines day talks between Eastern powers

In tri-lateral talks between Russia, the Peoples Republic of China and India in New Delhi, all three countries pledged increased cooperation in an ever changing political environment. While the talks mostly focused on the political cooperation and the United Nations, there was discussion of increased economic cooperation.

Russia , India and China are all rising economic powers, with growing industrial might, political and economic influence and huge markets. If these three countries were to form a sort of economic agreement or union, it would be a force that would rival that of the European Union.

If this were to come to pass, the American people would be among those who's lives would change as a result of this. By lowering the bars of competition between each other, they could focus on working together to achieve economic prosperity, similar to the goal of the North American Free Trade Organization ( NAFTA). America, quite possible would not be able to compete against such economic forcefulness, and our economy as a whole would suffer as a result. Jobs would be eliminated ,the dollar would depreciate further, and American could foresee ably lose its place as the leader of the world economically.

If we are to survive in an increasingly competitive world America needs to become an innovator on the world economic stage to stay ahead!

Wow, very interesting article. Scary though, especially when you think of all the cheap labor availble in India, combined with the technological superiority of China and the borders of Russia, America i think has just lost some serious trade investors. It's a shame, i still think that there should be a law against outsourcing jobs overseas to people who can work for half the price but oh well,

VOTE OBAMA IN 08!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting article.. very scary though what could happen to our country's economy when 3 other countries decide they want to economically cooperate. hopefully this wont happen, but if it does, America will need a plan B quickly just to stay in the game.

I like the point you made about the threat China, Russia, and India pose when they combine their labor force and technological advances. I think the answer to this problem is to do it right back. Both China and Russia import a great deal of steel products, while India relies on shipments of chemicals and fertilizers. Maybe, then, the U.S., the world's second largest supplier of steel, should join with other Western Hemisphere nations such as Canada or countries in Latin and South America, to combat this far east alliance. A western coalition such as this would not serve to counteract act and undermine the India-Russia-China force. Rather, its comined commodity wealth may provide enough leverage to reduce the collective power of these three nations, thereby evening the playing field.

If in fact these three countries did decide to come together which would be the ideal plan, America would have to act quickly in order to keep up. crazy to think about.
